Fairport Hardware & Rentals is seeking a Store Manager with a strong background in retail and management.
A few of the responsibilities you can expect to have in this role are to:
- Provide exceptional customer service while serving as a role model for the store.
- In collaboration with Management:
- Plan, develop and implement organization policies and goals, establish priorities and communicate expectations to staff.
- Hire, train, motivate, and develop staff.
- Provide performance evaluations and coaching for increased performance.
- Direct and coordinate ordering, merchandising, and pricing of merchandise ensuring compliance with support center directives.
- Monitor arrival of new products and arrange entry into the POS system in coordination with the sales team.
- Oversee housekeeping, sanitation, and safety programs and overall physical and facilities maintenance of the hardware store.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Education - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer Skills - Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Email systems.
